Hi, it’s Lynetta :)
Two things drive most of what I do.
The first is a wish to preserve our moments with the people we love for longer. I grew up moving around a lot, often without my parents nearby, and I lost a lot of relationships that way. It taught me early that the small ordinary moments are the ones worth protecting, and that ageing quietly steals them from us.
The second is a belief that therapeutics can be more elegant. Right now we dose blindly and hope the body cooperates. I design "self-aware" therapeutics, the treatments that sense what's happening in the body and adjust themselves in real time. Kinda like a thermostat.
Outside of that, I play a lot of card games and read ancient classics. Both, I think, for the same reason: they're old systems that reward you for paying attention to people.
